Valens Beton is a concrete construction company from Vinkovci, Croatia. The company was named after Eastern Roman Emperor Valens (born in the area of today's Vinkovci). During Valens' reign, the monumental "Aqueduct of Valens" was built as the main water supply system of the Eastern Roman capital of Constantinople (today's Istanbul, Turkey). The client wanted us to design a visual identity that will include the motif of Valens Aqueduct. In the process of research, we detected the arches of Valens Aqueductas as an interesting visual element for logo development.
