rebranding, visual identity, communication
Nama is the oldest department store in Zagreb, originally started as „Kastner & Öhler“ in late 1870s. It was known for its luxurious and spacious shop windows. After the Second World War, the department store was renamed to Nama (Narodni Magazin – national store), and continued the great tradition. However, in recent decades Nama lost its leading market position. Nevertheless, many generations of citizens fondly remember the great shopping experience and glow of this remarkable store. The goal of this private project was to revitalize the Nama brand with a detailed rebranding that included a redesign of the visual identity and new verbal messages.
